GRAVEL, BARK OR SAND ANTITRAUMA SURFACES
To ensure proper safety in children's play areas, it is possible to choose anti-shock solutions in natural materials, such as bark, sand and gravel. All these materials are properly treated to be placed in children areas, then cleaned, free of clay or sediment. Perfectly in line with EN1177 and EN 933-1, gravel, bark and sand are distributed in specific sizes to absorb any fall impact, into insulating excavations carried out on site (based on the safety area defined in the project). Excavations are isolated from contact with the ground by non-woven fabric and surrounded by curbs of any material, shape or size. The safety surfaces made with natural materials are certified for falls up to 3 meters height.
THE ADVANTAGES

SPECIAL GRAVEL
The special gravel that we use for our flooring is exctracted from quarries and cleaned from clay and sediments. The size varies from 2 to 8 mm, which is the granulometry required by safety regulations. It is a very functional material, easy and quick to install, with very low installation and maintenance costs. In fact, maintenance is minimal and requie only a periodic checking of material level so it can be added if necessary. Gravel stays always dry, does not suffer the effects of atmospheric agents and UV rays, and inhibits the growth of annoying weeds that would otherwise have to be eradicated.
The anti-shock gravel surfaces are ideal in cases of safety, in a short time and with a minimum investment, of play equipment without anti-shock material and therefore not up to standard.
BARK
Among the natural materials for the anti-shock surfaces, bark is the one with the lowest environmental impact, ideal, in fact, for play areas located into protected green areas, nature reserves or forests. This is because the bark does not need to be recycled, it can remain in the place of installation even if the playground was dismantled: a benefit for the environment and for the economic balance, given the reduction in disposal costs. As for gravel, the bark is also placed on special tanks with size ranging from 2 to 8 mm depending on the level of protection against falling required.
SAND
Sand we use for our play areas is perfectly clean and suitable for use in outdoor play areas. It is a material that requires very little maintenance and is very weather resistant. Simply level it regularly to check the level of material and added if necessary to constantly ensure the right fall impact protection. The anti-shock sand floors can be installed directly on the natural substrate present - for example, in the case of play areas near the beach - or on tanks that we prepare on site and we cover in NON-woven fabric to create the correct insulation with the ground below.
